about nw discs
The staff at Yellow Tail Records started NW Discs so that we could offer the discounts, that the record company had been receiving, to some of our friends. Over the years, we realized that there was a real need for a cd manufacturing and print broker who was familiar with the kinds of problems that independent artists face when trying to put together a cd project. There are a lot of excellent companies around that offer much of the same things we offer -- some of them offer many more perks for using their services -- but we offer personal attention to YOUR project. We use the same major manufacturers and printing companies that the major labels and brokers use. However, we don't mark everything up 100%...we pass on the savings to you. Why? Because we're all independent artists here at NW Discs and we don't think there's any reason why you should have to pay extra to do the kind of music YOU want to do. It's hard enough making independent music these days, and it's hard enough just getting that music to the public; there's no reason you should have to pay more because you're not on a major label!
